KII is a pair of identical and
completly Independent Vacuum Tube amplified Active
speakers. This design let it achieves minimum interference
and signal distortion.
As
the result, KII reproduces true rich and detailed music
with depth and clarity. In each speaker, 2 transformers
are used to power the input and the output separatly.
They are positioned as "L" inside the speaker
to avoid the magnetic interference between each other.
VAA70, the world famous Hi-End amplification circuitry,
know for its directness and simplicity, is applied in
KII. A 6F2 vacuum tube is used for pre-amplification
and coupled with a pair of 6P1 tube for amplification
of signal. All
other components within, such as Geman made WIMA polypropylene
capacitors, are carefully chosen Hi-End grade products
to match the circuit demand.
KII uses bass reflex type construction. A German made
silk diaphragm soft dome, and a 4" wooven paper
cone are used for accurate sound reproduction with
in 58 Hz - 20 KHz.
As
the left and right channel are phisically and electronically
identical, they are free of problem of the common
active speaker, sound difference bwteen the 2 active
speakers. 2 sets of inputs with a selection switch
to use with 2 signal sources are equipped. A tube
protector is placed on each speaker to prevent harm
to the fragile tubes.
KII independent channel amplification gives a better
definition of sound field.The well balanced sound
is filled with strength in low range, clear and crisp
in mid range, and accurate yet soft in high range.KII
achieves highest fidelity for close range listening.
And it is the best choice for the audiophiles for
classica, vocal, and instrumental music appreciation.
